But it didn't just happen among the Jews. Many "pagan" religions demanded the self-castration of the priests. We have a leftover to this day, where Catholic priests, bishops and popes are supposed to be living in celibacy.

The injunction accepts that people have been castrated because of illness, or by barbarians or slave owners. But people who castrate themselves must be thrown out of the church.

How can you best explain Jesus' Word?
It is not so certain that Jesus recommends something that the Church forbids and which disgusts in our modern society. The Bible Society has therefore chosen the tried-and-true solution of falsifying the text: In the 1992 translation, eunuch was replaced by "unfit" and "them".

God is not gracious of conscious sin as He has pointed out people have to stop in their personal lives, this is not about the things we fall into because of our weaknesses or we don't know it is wrong.

As it is more popular to talk about love, many choose to focus on the cross as a demonstration of God's love rather than atonement for our sin. Yes, the cross certainly shows how far God was willing to go to save a lost world, and in that sense, the cross is an expression of God's love. But the cross is not just an expression of God's love. In fact, I would say that if you ONLY make the cross a demonstration of how much God loves us, you are in danger of losing the true meaning of the cross.

WHY DID JESUS ​​DIE?
If we do not understand why Jesus had to die, we will never be able to fully understand what He did on the cross, which is why this is a VERY important question.
First, it is important to understand that it was not because God loved us that Jesus died on the cross. If love was the only reason why Jesus died, I would say that God has a strange way of showing love. I love my kids, but don't go out and kill myself to show them how much I love them. In fact, I would say that exposing oneself to unnecessary torture is a sick form of love, to show someone how much one loves them.

But if my children were in danger, I would have done something to save them and then giving their own lives would be an expression of true love. When Jesus died on the cross, it wasn't just to show us how much God loves us. There was a reason he had to do what he did, and this explains Paul in Romans 4:25:

He (Jesus) who was surrendered to death for our sins and raised to be righteous.

When Jesus died on the cross, it was because this was the only way our sin could be reconciled. He died to atone for your sin and your sin, but it doesn't stop there. Had it stopped there, I would have just been a forgiven sinner, and only that would have been wonderful, but Jesus' work on the cross contains EVERY MORE. For Jesus was not only crucified and buried in the tomb. He resurrected, and by his rebellion I was declared righteous - ie. not guilty.

In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus prayed “My father! If possible, let this cup pass me by. But not as I will, just as you will. "(Matt. 26:39). In other words, Jesus would not suffer the death of the cross if it was not absolutely necessary, but because of His love for us, He was willing to do so if that was what was needed.
It was love that made Jesus willing to die on the cross, but it was our sin that made the death of the cross necessary. As we preach the gospel, it is important for those who listen to understand that it was because of their sin that Jesus had to die. If those who listen do not understand this, it will be difficult for them personally to relate to Jesus' death on the cross.

THE WAGES OF SIN IS NOT JUST GRACE BUT DEATH
From Genesis, God has made it clear to people that the wages of sin is dead. Not only physical death, but also as a spiritual separation between God and man. The wages of sin is dead, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Although God is love, he cannot overlook the sin of man, for he is also a righteous judge. The wages of sin is dead, and as a just judge, God must therefore judge by the laws He has set. Although we do not always feel like great sinners, God sees sin more seriously than we humans do. He sees the long-term consequence. When Eve ate the forbidden fruit, she probably didn't think I was making a big sin now, but the long-term consequence of her disobedience was catastrophic, and God knew this. Therefore, He said what He said and it would have been much better if Eve had just trusted what God said.

While it may be difficult for us to understand, God is so serious about sin that the wages of sin is eternal perdition. But Jesus does not want anyone to perish, which is why he was willing to pay the price he paid, making Jesus' death on the cross the center of world history. It was the legal turning point where the judge himself compensated for all the sin of the world. Not only the sin that was committed, but also the sin that will be committed in the future.

God has made Him visible to His blood to be the place of atonement for those who believe. This is how God showed His righteousness. For he had previously patiently withheld the punishment for the sins committed. Romans 3:25 (Galatians 3: 8-9)

Abraham was declared righteous by faith, even though he lived hundreds of years before Jesus' death on the cross - for he looked forward to God's promises. Throughout the Old Testament, people looked forward to the cross by the sacrifices they made - these sacrifices were prophetic acts that pointed to what was to come.

When the angel of the Lord reveals himself to Joseph, he says of Jesus that he "shall save his people from their sins ..." (Matthew 1:21). When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he exclaimed, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sin of the world!" (Jn 1:29). Those who listened to John knew this image well because they were used to the Jewish sacrificial rituals - they were Jews.

Today we are saved by looking back at what Jesus did on the cross. When we establish our faith and trust in what He has already done, we are declared righteous. Not because of what we've done, but because of what he's done. Spiritually we are crucified with him, we die with him and in baptism we are buried with him. (Rom. 6: 4-8 + Gal. 3:27 + Col. 2: 12-14). The wages of sin is dead, but one who is already dead cannot be sentenced to death. Therefore, we can no longer be judged for our sin. We can now declare with Paul: I am crucified with Christ; I no longer live myself, but Christ lives in me. Galatians 2: 19b-20


Because of the fall of Adam and Eve, all human beings were possessed by a sin virus that created a natural trait against sin in all human beings. This meant that no human being was capable of living a sinless life, and that all human beings were on their way to eternal perdition. Although God respects our free will, He does not want any people to perish. But even though He does not want anyone to perish, He cannot, as a just judge, ignore human sin.

Therefore, a just judgment on sin had to take place and the "victim" of that judgment had to be one who had no sin himself. Since no man was without sin, God himself chose in Jesus to become human. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily chose to take the punishment for both the sin that was done and the sin that was to happen in the future. Therefore, he can perfectly save ALL who come to God through him. He has given eternal salvation to all who receive.

Not with goats and calves of blood, but with his own blood he entered the sanctuary once and for all and bought us free forever ... Therefore he can also fully save those who come to God through him, because he always lives and intercession for them. Hebrews 9:12 + 7:25.

Har du set og mødt Jesus som han er.

På trods af vort had og uretfærdige beskyldninger mod Ham tog Jesus al vor smerte og straf på sig. v4. Men det var vore sygdomme, han tog, det var vore lidelser, han bar; og vi regnede ham for en, der var ramt, slået og plaget af Gud. v5. Men han blev gennemboret for vore overtrædelser og knust for vore synder. Han blev straffet, for at vi kunne få fred, ved hans sår blev vi helbredt. v6. Er det den Jesus som du elsker? Han elsker dig over alt, gik i døden for dig, tog din indre smerte ja hele din skyld betalte Jesus med sit liv.

But it was our illnesses he took, it was our suffering he suffered; and we counted him one who was afflicted, beaten and tormented by God. v5. But he was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace, by his wounds we were healed. v6.  Despised, hated ugly in its exterior. Jesus was not an icon He is often portrayed as. Is it the Jesus you believe in and follow in the actions of your faith? Despite our hatred and unjust accusations against Him, Jesus took on all our pain and punishment. v4. But it was our illnesses he took, it was our suffering he suffered; and we counted him one who was afflicted, beaten and tormented by God. v5. But he was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our sins. He was punished so that we could have peace, by his wounds we were healed. v6. We all wandered about like sheep, we each turned our way; but the Lord God caused all our guilt to befall him.

Is that the Jesus you love? He loves you all over, went to death for you, took your inner pain yes all your guilt paid Jesus with his life.

Om du ikke ønsker at tro det Gud siger om sin søn Jesus Kristus, eller ikke vil have det der står, eller ønsker at hoppe noget over af det som er beskrevet deri, så er du en vantro, eller i oprør overfor det som Gud har sagt og gjort, og oprør fører til helvedet som Er det evige endemål Gud har forberedt satan og hans tilhængere, et evigt pinested.

Satan er skyld i at der kom synd , sygdom, fattigdom. Ondskab og tyranni. m.m. Ind i verden. Det skete da Eva og Adam som stod ved siden af Eva, gjorde oprør imod det Gud havde sagt- I må ikke spise af frugten på det træ der.

Han udslettede ved Noa hele menneskeheden ved oversvømmelse- på nær Noa og hans sønner og deres koner.

Vi ser herved at kimen/oprøret mod Gud - arvesynden, hurtigt rejste sig efter nogen tid igen- Ånd kan man ikke til intet gøre. En ånd lever Evigt. Vi er skabt af Ånd, sjæl, legeme. Gud gjorde så de ti bud, som mennesker skulle leve efter, og de skulle ofre forskellige dyr, lam og duer m. m. Men det virkede så at der blev slagtet så mange dyr, det var alt for meget, og Gud blev træt af slagtofrene.

Efter lang tid kom den bedste løsning i at redde mennesker i at ende i helvedet.

JESUS KRISTUS

I stedet for at dyr skulle slagtes. Sendte Gud sin søn.

John 3:16-17
Således elskede Gud verden, at han sendte sin søn JESUS for at enhver SOM TROR PÅ HAM IKKE SKAL FORTABES MEN HAVE EVIGT LIV. Gud sendte ikke sin søn for at dømme verden, men for at verden skulle frelses ved ham.

Jesus er vejen, sandheden og livet.
Bibelens Ord bliver levende i dit liv ved: LÆS SOM DER STÅR, TRO SOM DER STÅR, GØR SOM DER STÅR.

Da Jesus døde på korset for os tog han hele loven op på korset for os, og gav os to nye bud.

Der sidder helt sikkert mennesker ved møderne, som er helbredsmæssigt langt ude, og som har et skrigende behov for Guds indgriben. Og så møder jeg op med mine trivielle, alderdoms-relaterede smerter og problemer, som dog er reelle nok. De hører vel egentligt hjemme i den større sammenhæng i småtings-afdelingen.

På den ene side spørger jeg mig selv, om det er ”sundt” at gå til forbøn mange gange. På den anden side må jeg indrømme, at jeg aldrig har deltaget i et af dine møder, uden at jeg har modtaget en eller anden form for velsignelse. Måske ikke altid fysisk helbredelse; men så en eller anden form for åndelig velsignelse.

Naturligvis kunne jeg komme til møderne uden at gå op til forbøn – det har jeg faktisk overvejet flere gange. Men så kommer jeg til at tænke på, at hvis nu Jesus var fysisk og synligt til stede, så er jeg overbevist om, at alle mødedeltagerne ville løbe om kap for at komme op til ham først for at blive velsignet. Og jeg ved jo, at han er til stede – skønt usynligt, så dog virkeligt nok, så hvorfor dog ikke gå til ham, som man jo gør gennem forbønnen. Jeg føler nok, at jeg ville gå glip af noget, hvis jeg blev siddende på min plads.

Jeg tænker også på og oplever faktisk, at i min alder står helbreds-problemerne nærmest i kø for at overfalde én. Men jeg skal bestemt ikke klage, og det fordi jeg hele tiden bliver helbredt af Jesus. Nå, det blev en længere smøre.

SVAR
Mange har brug for at bede sammen
Jesus siger i Matthæus-evangeliet kapitel 18, vers 19: ” Jeg siger jer altså: Alt, hvad to af jer her på jorden bliver enige om at bede om, det skal de få af min himmelske fader.”

KAN MAN MISBRUGE FORBØN?
Som udgangspunkt, NEJ!

Men en forbedrer forventer af kristne, at de også har bedt for sig selv om helbredelse, inden de kommer til forbøn.

Der er nogen der ikke beder for sig selv af forskellige årsager.
Nogle beder ikke for sig selv, fordi de ikke forstår at bede, og fordi de aldrig har lært det. De kommer til møderne på grund af sygdom. De misbruger ikke forbønnen. For det er syge, som kommer til møderne uden nogen kristen baggrund.

Hvis man endelig skal tale om misbrug, så er det fx: hvis kristne, som selv kender bønnens vej, kommer til forbøn for en nemheds skyld. Så behøver de nemlig ikke selv at bede om helbredelse. Det lader de forbederen om. Herved overlader de så også ansvaret for deres helbredelse helt og fuldt til forbederen. Det er ikke nogen god måde. De er heldigvis også de få. Men det forekommer. Alligevel, de er ikke misbruger af forbønnen. For de har også brug for forbøn og for hjælp.

Der er jo noget i kristendommen, de ikke helt forstår. Nemlig det: at tage ansvar.

Der tales jo om, alderdoms-relaterede smerter og problemer, som nogen henfører til småtings-afdelingen.

Vi tror, at Jesus vil være vores store læge lige så længe, vi skal være her på jorden.

Han vil være læge for de 14-årige lige så vel som for de 100-årige. Løfterne i Bibelen, om at Herren vil være vores læge, gælder nemlig alle.

I Matthæus-evangeliet kap. 11, vers 28 siger Jesus:
Kom til mig, alle I, som slider jer trætte og bærer tunge byrder, og jeg vil give jer hvile.
Læg mærke til, der står alle med tunge byrder. Sygdom er i sandhed en tung byrde.
Også for dig, selvom du taler om småtings-afdelingen.

Vi tror ikke på, at Gud straffer os nu med modgang.
Mange har søvn problemer. Med alle mulige tanker som myldrer i hovedet, især om natten. Det medfører, at man døjer med at sove.

Før sov man trygt og roligt hver nat.
Den gode nattesøvn er forsvundet. Nætterne er blevet forfærdeligt lange. Det skete også af og til tidligere, at det en enkelt nat kunne knibe med nattesøvnen. Men nu er det nat efter nat. Måske er vi stadig i den mørke tid, og synes, mørket i naturen udenfor er ved at smitte af på ens sind. Og man håber ikke, at man er ved at få en depression. Søvnløse nætter er noget ondt noget.

Det er underligt med os mennesker: vi tager for det meste vores goder som noget selvfølgeligt.

At vi er sunde og raske? – Ja, hvad skulle vi ellers være.

De fleste ser det også som noget selvfølgeligt, at man har råd til at anskaffe sig det meste af, hvad man har lyst til.

Det selvfølgelige bliver let noget, der hverken gør os undrende eller taknemmelige. Sådan har vi det nok også med hensyn til en god nattesøvn.

Vi har nok af og til hørt mennesker klage over, at de sover dårligt om natten. Men det er ikke rigtigt gået op for os, at det er en gave med en god nats søvn. Det indser vi først, når vi ligger og ikke kan sove. Og især når det ikke bare en enkelt nat, men nat efter nat.

En nat kan være forfærdelig lang, når man ikke kan sove.
Dog sover man nok lidt af og til i nattens løb. Måske mere end man er klar over, og det er godt det samme. En ældre kvinde klagede sig, at nu havde hun ikke sovet i mere end to år. Hvis det var tilfældet, så ville hun være død nu. Så ville det i hvert fald være et kæmpe mirakel, at hun kunne stå på sine ben.

Sagen er som sagt, at man sover nok lidt af og til i løbet af den søvnløse nat, ofte mere end man tror. Men alligevel står det for én, som om man har ligget vågen praktisk talt hele natten. Og når morgenen melder sig, er man sløj og uoplagt hele den næste dag. Søvnløse nætter er ikke blot drøje at komme igennem. De er også farlige. Tankerne går så let deres egne negative veje i trætheds-tilstanden.

Den onde prøver at få mørket udenfor til at gøre os negative overfor Gud og andre mennesker. Men Jesus er vores lys i mørket. Brug de søvnløse nætter til at bede Gud velsigne alle dem, du tænker på. Nattens mørke udenfor kan så let blive til et mørke inden i os. Her skal vi passe på. Den onde vil angribe os med fordømmelse og med alle mulige negative tanker om Gud og om menneskerne omkring os.

Godt, at vi da har Jesu navn som det lys, der skinner for os i mørket. Det lys må kong David have oplevet, for han skriver i Salme 63: min mund lovpriser dig med jublende læber, når jeg på mit leje husker dig og tænker på dig i natte-timerne. For du er blevet min hjælp, og jeg jubler i dine vingers skygge. Min sjæl hænger ved dig, og din højre hånd holder mig fast.

Ligger man lysvågen, så kommer man let i tanker om mennesker, om arbejdskammerater, om nær og fjern familie og om mennesker, vi løb på den foregående dag. Eller alt det man har oplevet gennem livet kører som mikset film inde i hovedet på èn. Påkald Jesu navn ind over dem alle.

Det gør dig måske ikke jublende glad; men Gud vil komme til dig. Det er sikkert.

Lad forbønnens tjeneste få en plads hos dig i de søvnløse nætter. Lad Gud gøre dig til sin medarbejder gennem nattens tjeneste i bøn. Da vil Gud bruge din søvnløshed til velsignelse for dig og for andre.

Ofte viser bøn og forbøn sig at være den bedste medicin mod søvnløshed.

Noget der også er godt mod søvnløshed er at tage et vers fra bibelen og begynde at takke for det eller bare bede.

IS IT SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE IT?

There are certainly people sitting at the meetings, who are far from healthy, and who are in dire need of God's intervention. And then I come up with my trivial, age-related pain and problems, which are real enough. They really belong in the larger context of the small things department.

On the one hand, I wonder if it is "healthy" to go to prayer many times. On the other hand, I must admit that I never attended one of your meetings without receiving some kind of blessing. Maybe not always physical healing; but then some kind of spiritual blessing.

Of course, I could come to the meetings without going to prayer - I have actually considered that several times. But then I come to think that if now Jesus was physically and visibly present, then I am convinced that all the meeting participants would run to come up to him first to be blessed. And I know that he is present - although invisible, yet real enough, so why not go to him, as you do through prayer. I feel like I would miss something if I was seated in my seat.

I also think about and actually feel that at my age, the health problems are almost in line to assault one. But I certainly should not complain, and that is because I am constantly healed by Jesus. Well, it became a longer smear.

Many need to pray together
Jesus says in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 18, verse 19: "I say unto you, therefore, whatever two of you on earth agree to pray, they shall receive it from my heavenly Father."

CAN AN ABUSE OF PRAYER?
Basically, NO!

But an enhancer expects Christians to pray for healing for themselves before they intercede.

There is someone who does not pray for himself for various reasons.
Some do not pray for themselves because they do not understand how to pray and because they have never learned it. They come to the meetings because of illness. They do not abuse the intercession. For it is the sick who come to the meetings without any Christian background.

For example, if one is to talk about abuse, it is, for example: if Christians, who themselves know the way of prayer, come to intercession for the sake of convenience. Then they do not have to ask for healing themselves. They let the intercessor know. In doing so, they also entrust the responsibility of their healing completely to the intercessor. That's not a good way. Fortunately, they are also the few. But it seems. Still, they are not abusers of intercession. For they also need intercession and help.

After all, there is something in Christianity that they do not quite understand. Namely, that: to take responsibility.

If you have what we started with then belong to those who need one or more to join in prayer / intercession. You refer to Jesus in the Gospel of Matthew chapter 18, verse 19 with the words: I say to you, therefore, all that two of you here on earth agree to pray for, they will receive from my heavenly Father.

And further in verse 20, Jesus speaks of something, namely of His presence with us in the meetings: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am in the midst of them.

After all, there is talk of age-related pain and problems that someone attributes to the small things department.

We believe that Jesus will be our great physician just as long as we have to be here on earth.

He will be a doctor for the 14-year-olds as well as for the 100-year-old. The promises in the Bible that the Lord will be our physician apply to everyone.

In the Gospel of Matthew chapter 11, verse 28, Jesus says:
Come to me, all you who wear you tired and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
Notice, everyone is burdened with heavy burdens. Illness is, in truth, a heavy burden.
Also for you, even if you talk about the small things department.

We do not believe that God is punishing us now with adversity.
Many people have sleep problems. With all sorts of thoughts like the jumble of the head, especially at night. This means that you delay sleeping.

Before, one slept safely and quietly every night.
The good night's sleep has disappeared. The nights have been terribly long. It also happened from time to time that a single night could interfere with the night's sleep. But now it's night after night. Maybe we are still in the dark time, and think the darkness of nature outside is about to throw off on one's mind. And you do not hope to have a depression. Sleepless nights are a bad thing.

Do not let darkness in, spend sleepless hours praying
It's weird about us humans: we mostly take our goods as something of course.

That we are healthy and healthy? - Yes, what else should we be.

Most people also see it as a matter of course that you can afford to get most of what you want.

Of course, it easily becomes something that does not make us wonder or grateful. That's how we feel about a good night's sleep too.

We have sometimes heard people complain that they sleep poorly at night. But it has not really occurred to us that it is a gift with en good night's sleep. We only realize this when we lie down and can't sleep. And especially when it's not just a single night, but night after night.

A night can be terribly long when you can't sleep.
However, you do sometimes sleep a little during the night. Maybe more than you realize, and it's well the same. An elderly woman complained that now she had not slept for more than two years. If that were the case, then she would be dead by now. Then at least it would be a huge miracle that she could stand on her legs.

The thing is, as I said, you probably sleep a little during the sleepless night, often more than you think. But it still stands for one, as if you have been awake practically all night. And when morning dawns, you are silly and unloved the next day. Sleepless nights are not just delays to get through. They are also dangerous. The thoughts so easily go their own negative ways in the fatigue state.

The evil one tries to get the darkness outside to make us negative towards God and other people. But Jesus is our light in the dark. Spend those sleepless nights asking God to bless all you think of. The darkness of the night outside can so easily turn into a darkness within us. Here we have to take care. The evil one will attack us with condemnation and with all sorts of negative thoughts about God and about the people around us.

It is good that we have the name of Jesus as the light that shines before us in the dark. That light must have been experienced by King David, for he writes in Psalm 63: My mouth praises you with cheering lips when I remember my hire and think of you in the night hours. For you have become my help and I rejoice in the shadow of your wings. My soul is hanging by you and your right hand is holding me.

If you lie awake, you easily come to mind about people, about workmates, about close and distant relatives and about people we ran on the previous day. Or all that one has experienced throughout life runs like a mixed movie inside one's head. Invite Jesus' name over them all.

It might not make you cheerfully happy; but God will come to you. That is for sure.

Let the service of intercession get a place with you during those sleepless nights. Let God make you His servant through the night service in prayer. Then God will use your insomnia to bless you and others.

Often, prayer and intercession prove to be the best remedy for insomnia.

Something that is also good about insomnia is to take a verse from the Bible and start thanking for it or just praying.
